my first (and sadly my last) pair of sb dunks. the un futura high. fell in love with these bad boys at first sight back in 08. i still wear them today. even with all the scratches and scuffs on em..because i think flaws on sb’s add character to them.
but i really posted this because a friend of mine reminded me about sb culture. truthfully i feel shallow for forgetting about how much more valuable sb’s (especially dunks) are than a lot of other nikes and mainly jordans. dont get me wrong. i love jordans. but something about the quality, comfort, design and detail put into these shoes put them way above the bar set by the jumpman. in my opinion it seems like jordan brand could give no fucks about their patrons. the quality of their shoes over the years have noticeably declined as they have started to use cheaper material. then they turn around and raise the price of the same pair of shoes it takes no more than 10 cents to create.  no shade to the fellow “sneakerheads” out there, but jordan cannot be the only brand i cop. i need to take my sb game higher and urge others to do so as well.
let it be known that this isnt a rant against jordan brand, nor is it a rally for sb’s. its just me remembering that there is gold outside the jumpman. just take a step back and youll realize that sb’s play a giant role in sneaker culture.
much love and respect. and happy coppage.

My boy Trev did this dope ass write up on Nike SBs, peep it.

A selection of these pieces in-store very soon..

Kush Groove Clothing Co. is a Boston area based collective of young progressive entrepreneurs — dubbed as a “self expressions brand for city stoners” each piece by Kush Groove is fresh, dynamic, and fitting (3 major factors to consider when developing personal style) and each piece in Kush Groove Clothing Co.’s collection can be used as a declarative statement of stonerdom— kush tees.

Stoner friendly clothing is definitely something you’ll be seeing draped over young urban adults this season, bringing fellow smokers and midnight tokers to a new wavelength of style and self-expression.

The Kush Groove turtle symbolizes longevity and wisdom, just as Kush Groove Clothing brings suburban crawl to the hustle and bustle of urban youth lifestyle.

Sneakercon 2012: The Merchant/Buyer Perspective

Here’s the outcome of sneakercon 2012 for me. I did great. First off, I got in free because my dad worked there! I copped my favorite shoes ever (aqua 8’s) for only $170. I traded my busted 04’ Olympic 7’s for some great condition peapod 8’s, and I copped some playoff 8’s for $160. I also sold my royal blue foams for $100 & my 2011 cement 3’s for $120 (yeah these are both incredibly low prices for the condition both pair were in, but I didn’t care much for either pair). Anyways, I’m happy with the way things went down.

HUF: Spring/Summer 2013 “Fuck It” Collection

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the “fuck it” products from HUF, however this time around they’re hitting us with a whole collection. This collection includes fuck it bucket hats, 5 panel caps, snapbacks, slip-ons, beanies, and button ups. No specific release dates have been revealed, however it is possible that the products will be online store exclusives like the prevouis mini collection that dropped earlier this year. Stayed tuned for further details.
